INTRODUCTION:

The Evangelism and missionary Group is a group of women accompanied by a few men, who see the need to come together to share Christ through the ministry of love, sharing, compassion, Prayer, visitation, and Counseling. ( Scripture)

The group Goes by the name of D.O.A: Daughters of Abraham.

Careful thought was given to the name choosing of, "Daughters Of Abraham", Just as the Bible states in Genesis 12, Abraham was asked to leave his country and to travel to afar land where he knew no one, neither did he take land. Nevertheless, we see without hesitation, previewing, enquiry or wavering, he made haste. For the scripture says (Gen.12:4 ) "So Abram departed as the Lord had had spoken unto him, and Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed out of Haran". Here we see the first act of obedience to serve. And the first act of Faith followed by total trust in the one who calls us.We know that the one who called us is the Lord, God and when he calls us like he called Abram, we too must come and must act without fear, doubt, nor grumbling. We also see there is age barrier with the lord. For Abram was 70 yrs old. Also, we the "Daughters of Abraham", are made up of different age groups, and just like Abram, move by fait, likewise we will move to comfort console until our world knows and understands the full nature of Christ.

What Is This Purpose?

There Is A a purpose to every move, just as Abram was called and sent to a new land. His Purpose was to bring about a change that would affect the whole human race throughout the centuries. Abram's Purpose to acquire this new land (Canaan) was that his descendants will bring forth the blessings of God to humanity. We the Daughters Of Abraham see our purpose as to serve our fellow brethren and communities near and far.

“A NEW DAY IS HERE”

Now announcing the formation of The Women Evangelism & Missionary Division of: Mt. Zion Church of God 7th Day
203 East 37th Street
Brooklyn, NY 11203

We are called the Daughters of Abraham. Like Abraham in the Bible, we started by faith and continue to function by faith. Abraham was called by God and journeyed to foreign lands by faith, not knowing where he was going. This group was started by three sisters and since have been relying on God to send new members who share the vision of the Daughters of Abraham.

OUR MISSION

The primary goal of the Daughters of Abraham is to encourage the women of Zion to focus on the will of God by living a holy and prayerful life. We are committed to sharing Christ in the most simplistic way with the House of Faith and with those who are not part of the House of Faith. For it is written, “Many Sheep have I, that are not in this fold them would I bring in this fold that I may be one Shepard over one fold” John 10:16. We will continue to serve our fellowmen who are or are not members of our congregation in every possible capacity. We are committed to fulfilling the commission of Jesus Christ by doing outreach both locally and internationally. This can be done through the demonstration found in Matthew 25 by showing and expressing the love of Christ in acts of mercy, kindness, compassion, and seeking after the well-being of others. We will do our outreach mission at:
a) Homeless shelters
b) Hospitals
c) Orphanages
d) Prisons
e) Those that are shut in
f) Soup kitchens
g) Those of foreign countries who are in need
We will seek to share the good news while we take care of their immediate needs such as food, clothing, etc.
